George Holmes
The founder and head chef of Indian Mango is George Holmes, he is a Goan that has had a life long passion for authentic Indian food and has an innate desire to offer food that is old and modern, trendy, appeals to the eye and is palatable. He has travelled extensivly in India, sampling Indian cusine. He has luxury hotel background including 4 seasons world wide hotels, cooking for celebrities and not so famous people as me he says. His work has appeared in the media in and outside Europe, including Gestgjafinn, Icelands largest selling food and wine magazine.
The background to the diversity of Indian fare is set out in the creator, besides his travels, he has lived in the foothills of the Himalays feasting on Indian cusine, including game even though he hails from South West India. |
